I have diligently and carefully checked my resources and sources and conducted in-depth interviews with those at the heart of the revival among the Zulus. Since Erlo Stegen was in the habit of taking his co-workers with him on his many outreaches, it was not difficult to corroborate events described in this book. For three years I have cross-checked their narratives with many documents, newsletters, over 50 transcribed sermons and books and articles about the Mission.
